"Gracias!!"

This week was so great!!! We had Luis' baptism this week!! It was so amazing! It was so tender, when he got out of the water he had the biggest smile on his face and did a little wave from the font haha. He was so happy after and he is super excited to receive the priesthood and a temple recommend! Our bishop said he's gonna take him on a temple trip soon so he can go!! And then after he was confirmed, as he was walking back to his seat and was sustained, he put both fists in the air and said "Gracias!" With a huge smile on his face. He is seriously gonna be such a good disciple of Christ. Yay Luis! We also had the baptism of our friend Adán the same day!! He is 16 years old and practically lives at the church. He lives right next to it and comes to church every Sunday and goes there to play basketball every night with the young men. We've been visiting him and just had to get his mom's approval for him to be baptized, and she said yes this week! So he officia...

Okay this week was actually insane!!!! Our friend Luis who I said asks so many questions, is on date for this week now!!! The members in our ward are literally the best, a member of the bishopric has helped us soooo much to teach him, I'm so thankful for our ward!! I'm so excited for him, he's such a silly guy. We had ward conference this Sunday and it was awesome! They had us do a "panel" last minute about references and baptism and we literally had zero clue what we were doing but we left the meeting with a reference from every member that was there!! We sang twice, with the young adults and with the youth. It was epic. We had tons of friends (18!!!!) at church yesterday it was so hectic. But such a good time. After church we went to a lesson and a member literally flashed us like it was nothing, I was trying so hard not to die laughing hahahaha.  A bummer from this week is that when we went to go teach this family we have on date they were literally hiding from...

She Watched Me Pee

Hello hello hello!!! This week was so bomb ahhhh. So many good moments this week, I've been really grateful to be a missionary this week! Sorry this is probably the longest email I've sent oops.  Okay so this week was the first week of the transfer! We live with 2 other hermanas and we got a new one who got transferred here! She is so fun I love having missionary roommates lol.  On Wednesday I had to get this medical thing done for residency here and all of us missionaries had someone watch us pee in a cup. Got some blood drawn and got to see a St. George friend that's in the West Mission, Hermana Bingham!! So fun!!! Then we went to McDonald's for lunch after haha and then rode the metro which was a fun little experience. Later we had a lesson with our friend Luis who is someone we have to take our time with hahaha. He has soooo many questions and says he wants to receive a dream or sign that the Church is true. He is a very analytical guy. We've revisited each less...

Hola!! This week was good!! Unfortunately we still have to push some baptisms back and I'm so sad hahaha things just keep happening but June will be our month we're hoping that everything works out and we can have at least one of our 9 baptisms happen! My fingers are so crossed.  This week we just talked to a lot of people, taught a lot of people, and ate a lot of food. We had so many member's meals this week and they gave us sooooo much food, my stomach is still exploding. But on the bright side, Dominican food is so so good!! It's summer time here now so the heat is scorching. It's so hot here we sweat so much hahaha. Transfer news came and me and Hermana Reategui are staying together!! Yay!! I'm so excited for this transfer! I don't really know what else to say hahaha I'm hoping people keep their commitments!!!!! Spiritual Thought: Okay I have no time so this is gonna be short but I read about the tree of life this week in the Book of Mormon!! Sooo go...
