No Time

Hola!! This week was good!!


Unfortunately we still have to push some baptisms back and I'm so sad hahaha things just keep happening but June will be our month we're hoping that everything works out and we can have at least one of our 9 baptisms happen! My fingers are so crossed. 


This week we just talked to a lot of people, taught a lot of people, and ate a lot of food. We had so many member's meals this week and they gave us sooooo much food, my stomach is still exploding. But on the bright side, Dominican food is so so good!! It's summer time here now so the heat is scorching. It's so hot here we sweat so much hahaha.


Transfer news came and me and Hermana Reategui are staying together!! Yay!! I'm so excited for this transfer! I don't really know what else to say hahaha I'm hoping people keep their commitments!!!!!


Spiritual Thought:
Okay I have no time so this is gonna be short but I read about the tree of life this week in the Book of Mormon!! Sooo good!! There are 4 groups of people that can be found in Lehi's vision of the tree of life in 1 Nephi 8. Read it and try to identify which group you want to be in! Don't be ashamed for tasting the fruit of the tree of life, or for following Jesus Christ and His commandments. And if we do, the good news of the gospel is that we can always come back. Don't get discouraged!!

Hi!! This week was nice!!! I definitely saw some tender miracles this week!! We had a really good lesson with our friend Dagoberto and his wife Risa. He has sooooo much faith and we're just waiting for a few medical things to work out so he can get baptized!! They are so amazing and the spirit that we felt with them this week was so special. That lady that I said gasped during the First Vision is on date now!!!! Her name is Adilka and she's so special. She has so much faith and she said that when she reads the Book of Mormon the feeling she gets is indescribable. I'm so stoked for her. Her whole family are members but inactive and her inactive sister was such a huge help during our lesson to help us get her on a date, it was so funny but perfect!! The inactive sister has started to reactivate so it's awesome. Such a good lesson I just love them. That's about it hahaha this week was good and some frustrating things but that's the mission life I suppose. Good news...

I come home this week. In case you're wondering, yes, I am emo. I'm sad. I can't believe it. I can't believe the time has gone by so quick. My homecoming talk will be  THIS SUNDAY the 17th at 9am  at 550 E 700 S, I'd love to see you there!! There will be food after at Vernon Worthen Park :). This week was so crazy and so awesome. We had the mission tour with Elder Villanueva and I loved it!! We had 2 MLCs with him, and my companion and I are also part of the technology committee, so we had a technology council with him as well! Him and his wife are super cute, I love them and I feel lucky to have heard from them twice on my mission! 3 days full of awesome learning and application. I wish I had more time to apply everything I learned. On the last day he talked a lot about being a disciple of Jesus Christ for our whole lives and I feel like it was a message just for me! Letting The Holy Spirit Guide

Alo!! Koman ou ye?? Duolingo got Creole on it so now I'll definitely come back speaking like a pro thanks Duolingo and textbooks from my mom <3.  This week was average idk. Nothing too crazy. We had some cool lessons and met some cool people!! This is the last week of the transfer and we think Hermana Reategui might leave the area so I'm a little emo about that lol.  We did have a cool experience on Saturday though. We were chillin after English class in the morning and saw that we had some missed texts and a missed call from a random number asking if we were coming and we were like what??? Usually because of English class we don't make appointments for Saturday morning so we were super confused. We called the number and they were like hi are you guys coming??? And we were like who are you? They said "Larimar, remember on the second floor of that house, on such and such road, from Thursday? You said you would come by again Saturday morning did you guys forget?"...
