Buen día This week went by so fast holy. We had a lot of lessons fall through this week but of the ones that didn't, we had a lot of good ones! We met a lot of cool people this week! We've been working with a lot of inactives and it's a slow but great process with them! We also got a reference from a friend of a missionary in Brazil who seemed a little iffy to meet with us but when we met with him he really liked the message! We're so stoked to work with him more!! We've really been trying to work on our lessons with members and we've had some awesome ones this week! I'm thankful for this ward! I'm just having a good time here. Me and Hermana Zirker are just laughing all the time haha we've had so many silly interactions with people. Hola mi gente This week was so great!! We had some AWESOME lessons! We're teaching some solid people right now and I feel super grateful!!! We have a lot of friends progressing and I am just so excited to keep the rhythm going. We had zone conference this week and it was so so good!! I love and respect Presidente Acosta so much. He is such a wise man. We talked about recognizing the Spirit and making sure we're always doing our part to have the Holy Spirit guide! We've been applying what we've learned and it's been so great!  Alma 37 is so epic, read it when you get the chance!! Hello guys!! How is everyone?  I forgot to mention that my comp is also a tall girl! Just 2 tall american women walking around the DR, coming to your door to talk about Jesus!! We dominate here! The comments we hear in the street are so interesting ha. This week has just been so silly. We've gotten rejected this week in the funniest ways lol. And we've also had the weirdest encounters this week you guys had to be there like what was this week hahaha. It was so funny we were laughing hard the entire week. I'm enjoying my time here!!! This week we went to the temple!! I LOVE THE TEMPLE. It's my most favorite place ever. I've been super lucky to be able to go to a lot of different temples in different places!! My most favorite thing is that the feeling in each one is the same. I feel peace, love, inspiration, all the good things. Hey! New year, new área!! I'm back in my first zone and it's been kinda weird to be back, I have so many memories flooding back!!! Also here in the capital there is so much access to so many things I just forgot haha. I'm right next to the ocean!!! It's awesome!  This week was good!! There are a lot of cool friends in the area and I love getting to know them!! We had a lot of cool lessons and I'm excited to keep learning the area. Guys there is SO MUCH TRASH in this area. Literally if I had a dollar for every MOUNTAIN of trash I've seen in the streets this week I'd be rich!!  On the other hand though, we went on a teleferico (sky ride) today and were able to see the DR from above so the beauty wins the trash by a long run. Hi guys! Happy new year!! 2022 was so awesome, I've had so many awesome experiences and I am so excited to be able to experience so much more!!! A fun little thing is that I've spent 9 months of 2022 being a missionary and I'll spend 9 months of 2023 being a missionary!! Yay!! This is the best! Transfer news came this week and I'm leaving. I'm so sad!! Kennedy has such a big place in my heart!  Currently on a not-in-an-area-longer-than-2-transfers streak hahaha. This will be my 4th área and my next comps last transfer!! Her name is Hermana Zirker and she's actually been one of my STL's before so I was able to go on an exchange with her a few transfers ago. She's an awesome missionary and I'm so excited to work super hard and let her have the best last transfer ever!!!! This week was good! We talked to soooo many people and were really able to see how the Lord is preparing His children to receive the message of His restored gospel! So many cool people...
