I Love Jesus!

Hey! New year, new área!! I'm back in my first zone and it's been kinda weird to be back, I have so many memories flooding back!!! Also here in the capital there is so much access to so many things I just forgot haha. I'm right next to the ocean!!! It's awesome! 


This week was good!! There are a lot of cool friends in the area and I love getting to know them!! We had a lot of cool lessons and I'm excited to keep learning the area.


Guys there is SO MUCH TRASH in this area. Literally if I had a dollar for every MOUNTAIN of trash I've seen in the streets this week I'd be rich!! 


On the other hand though, we went on a teleferico (sky ride) today and were able to see the DR from above so the beauty wins the trash by a long run. I'm so thankful to be here and witness God's beautiful tropical creation!!! This place is beautiful!!!


Lately I've been studying the New Testament and ahhh, I love Jesus!!! Jesus is the best! I feel super grateful that someone like Him takes the time to get to know someone like me. He is there for us! It's in the name, literally! 


23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us (Matthew 1:23)


Turn to Him!! He's so aware of you please never doubt that!

Hi!! This week was nice!!! I definitely saw some tender miracles this week!! We had a really good lesson with our friend Dagoberto and his wife Risa. He has sooooo much faith and we're just waiting for a few medical things to work out so he can get baptized!! They are so amazing and the spirit that we felt with them this week was so special. That lady that I said gasped during the First Vision is on date now!!!! Her name is Adilka and she's so special. She has so much faith and she said that when she reads the Book of Mormon the feeling she gets is indescribable. I'm so stoked for her. Her whole family are members but inactive and her inactive sister was such a huge help during our lesson to help us get her on a date, it was so funny but perfect!! The inactive sister has started to reactivate so it's awesome. Such a good lesson I just love them. That's about it hahaha this week was good and some frustrating things but that's the mission life I suppose. Good news...

I come home this week. In case you're wondering, yes, I am emo. I'm sad. I can't believe it. I can't believe the time has gone by so quick. My homecoming talk will be  THIS SUNDAY the 17th at 9am  at 550 E 700 S, I'd love to see you there!! There will be food after at Vernon Worthen Park :). This week was so crazy and so awesome. We had the mission tour with Elder Villanueva and I loved it!! We had 2 MLCs with him, and my companion and I are also part of the technology committee, so we had a technology council with him as well! Him and his wife are super cute, I love them and I feel lucky to have heard from them twice on my mission! 3 days full of awesome learning and application. I wish I had more time to apply everything I learned. On the last day he talked a lot about being a disciple of Jesus Christ for our whole lives and I feel like it was a message just for me! Letting The Holy Spirit Guide

Alo!! Koman ou ye?? Duolingo got Creole on it so now I'll definitely come back speaking like a pro thanks Duolingo and textbooks from my mom <3.  This week was average idk. Nothing too crazy. We had some cool lessons and met some cool people!! This is the last week of the transfer and we think Hermana Reategui might leave the area so I'm a little emo about that lol.  We did have a cool experience on Saturday though. We were chillin after English class in the morning and saw that we had some missed texts and a missed call from a random number asking if we were coming and we were like what??? Usually because of English class we don't make appointments for Saturday morning so we were super confused. We called the number and they were like hi are you guys coming??? And we were like who are you? They said "Larimar, remember on the second floor of that house, on such and such road, from Thursday? You said you would come by again Saturday morning did you guys forget?"...
