Screaming Crying Throwing Up (Patiently)
Qué tal?
This week we had 2 exchanges and also did splits! One of the Hermanas we live with has been really sick recently and had to be in the hospital most of the week! Because of the week she's been out sick, they haven't been able to work in their area. So on Friday we did splits to do double the work in their area to help them out! It was fun! I got to spend even more time with Hermana Cabrera and I love that woman she is so awesome.
We have some awesome friends right now. During the tropical storm last week we were looking through some people in our areabook and found someone that had met with missionaries before and had attended church 2 years ago! We started teaching him and now he is on date to get baptized the 14th!! He came to church yesterday and said he's excited to keep progressing in the church. Please keep Luis in your prayers!
Man, only 1 more of these left. This is insane. I'm sad. It's hard for me to process haha. This week will be really exciting because we have a mission tour and MLC with Elder Villanueva, a member of the area presidency! We had a mission tour with him last year and I loved it! I'm really excited to learn from him again and I'm happy it's the last jam before I go :,).

Coming on the mission really brings out your true character and as I’ve been here, I've come to learn that patience is my biggest weakness. This has literally been one of the biggest lessons on my mission. But that's also why I am so beyond grateful to have served a mission! Because I've learned how to develop and exercise patience! I am still working on it haha, but I've truly learned that patience is a Heavenly virtue.
I've learned how to have patience with myself, with companions, with friends, with home, with God, and with everyone and everything. Especially with myself!
"Often the deep valleys of our present will be understood only by looking back on them from the mountains of our future experience. Often we can’t see the Lord’s hand in our lives until long after trials have passed. Often the most difficult times of our lives are essential building blocks that form the foundation of our character and pave the way to future opportunity, understanding, and happiness.
Patience is a godly attribute that can heal souls, unlock treasures of knowledge and understanding, and transform ordinary men and women into saints and angels. Patience is truly a fruit of the Spirit." (Dieter F. Uchtdorf https://www. churchofjesuschrist.org/study/ general-conference/2010/04/ continue-in-patience?lang=eng)
God really is so patient with us and we have to give ourselves some grace.
