Coming To U Live From Mexico
Hello everyone!!! First I would just like to give the RM's and current missionaries a second to tell me "I told you so" because when everyone told me that missions were hard I like believed them but at the same time did the old classic "I'm different" and thought it wouldn't be that hard. However from this week and a half I have learned that missions can in fact be tough and I can't escape it and I am not different. I made it to Mexico!! The trip here was SO LONG. Our flight got delayed 2 hours and we missed the whole first day, but I flew with my friend Elder Foggin so it was so nice to not travel alone!! Anyways this week has been pretty good!!!! He Heals The Wounded Soul
Hi! We're teaching this suuuuuuper awesome family that lives right next to the church. They are so special oh my gosh. The youngest, who's 8 years old, is literally always at the church. Always. All the members and youth know him because he is just always there! He's my bff. About a month ago we told him to come to church and he did, by himself!! After church we had him take us to his house and met his family, and we've been meeting with them every week since. They've all been coming to church and following through with their commitments!!!!!! This week our lesson with them was super special. The mom, Rosa, was telling us how she's been having a rough time, and she feels peace when she comes to church. She said when she reads the scriptures she feels a desire to change, she says they heal her soul.
