"When You Say You Have No Time For God, That's Like... Crazy!!!"

Hi!!!!

The quote is from our friend Wed in a phone call we had with him in English and a Haitian member who also speaks English and it was the funniest call ever. At the end of the call Alix (member) asked Wed "so do you have problems with immigration?" *pause* Wed: "Are you talking to me?????" Then told us "don't worry bro I have my passport and my visa." That doesn't really do it justice haha but it was sooooo funny we were dying.

Unfortunately not a lot of our friends are coming to church lately, so lame, but we prayed for a miracle and saw one yesterday!! There was this old guy named Maximino that Hermana Perry and another Hermana found on exchanges and invited him to church! Then Perry lost her agenda and his info was lost, so we still tried to go back on Thursday but no luck. Then there we were at church when a member was like hey is this guy one of your friends? And low and behold it was Maximino!! He came and loved it and wants to come back next week! All the members were super friendly to him too!!

Other than that not much happened haha.

Honestly the motivation to write these is decreasing but I'm staying strong... barely hahaha. I don't have a lot of time to write this but here's what we got for number 9:

10. Spiritual work works
9. God has a perfect plan, always

There's been so many times on my mission where I've been like what like why did I get transferred or just trying to find the purpose in the area I'm in. Every time I think that, God shows me why!! Every area I go to, every little thing that occurs, I just learn that this is exactly where I'm supposed to be, and it's all part of God's perfect plan. He is so cool and so tedious. A lot of times I don't really understand but He is SO patient with me and helps me understand. His plans are so much better than my plans, so much better.

"But behold, all things have been done in the wisdom of him who knoweth all things." (2 Nephi 2:24)

Nothing happens without God knowing. I think His church is so cool, especially being here on a mission, because I get to see exactly how His hand orchestrates everything. The places I go, the people I meet, the situations I'm in. He orchestrates it all. There's just no such thing as coincidences, especially here. That's how I know it's His work. His plan is so so perfect. Trust in His plan. We literally cannot comprehend His perfect plan with our natural eyes but please trust it, trust Him. The best is yet to come, even if we can't see it yet, He has so much in store for us, keep going!!!!!!

"Ye cannot behold with your natural eyes, for the present time, the design of your God concerning those things which shall come hereafter, and the glory which shall follow after much tribulation." (D&C 58:3)

LOVE YOU ALL. Give me a status update!!
