Happy Face
Hola!
This week was so busy!!!
We were gonna have 3 exchanges back to back to back this week and it all started as planned on Tuesday but then I got such a high fever Wednesday morning which put a huge bump in our plans. But then by Thursday morning I was feeling better and continued the exchanges!! All the hermanas we had exchanges with this week are so awesome! I feel so so blessed to know all of them and be able to learn from them!
We saw a lot of miracles this week! We had some friends come to church with us yesterday! It was awesome! We're trying to work really hard to help them prepare to get baptized soon!
This is the last week of the transfer which means Perry goes home this week and I'm so sad, I'm gonna miss her so much!!!! I'm so thankful to have had her as a companion, she has taught me so much. But also my next transfer is gonna go ham so I'm excited.
Another thing I've learned on my mission is that Christ magnifies my efforts!!!
10. Spiritual work works
9. God has a perfect plan, always
8. God truly is the same yesterday, today, and forever
7. Christ magnifies my efforts
My whole mission I've kinda struggled with divine discontent, that gap between who I am and who I can become. A lot of times I get frustrated with myself because of my imperfections and knowing I could be better! It's helped me so much while being here to learn and experience that my imperfect offerings to Christ are perfect in His eyes, and that He will magnify that. Jesus Christ helps me close that gap, and helps me be able to reach my divine potential. It is simply not possible without Him! He helps me look at my potential self with hope and joy, instead of with insecurity and hopeless.
"27 And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them." (Ether 12:27)
As I am humble and rely on Jesus Christ, He'll make my weaknesses strong. He'll help me be who I need to be. I'm so thankful He's kind enough and patient enough to help me do so!
Love you all so much, have such a great week!
