Final Countdown *Sobs*

Hello

Not a lot happened this week! We got to go to the temple for the last time with Presidente and Hermanan Acosta :'). I love the temple so much, it was so nice to go!!!! That is my most favorite player ever.

An awesome, firm, amazing, recent convert texted us on Thursday saying she will not be coming to church anymore. Out of the blue. Night and day switch. She told us there's no reason why. We aren't very sure what's going on but it was definitely the bummer of the week. :(.

Nestor should be getting baptized this week!!!! Keep him in your prayers!!!

This week I read a talk called "Drawing the Power of Jesus Christ into Our Lives" by President Nelson and a paragraph really stood out to me:

"There is nothing easy or automatic about becoming such powerful disciples. Our focus must be riveted on the Savior and His gospel. It is mentally rigorous to strive to look unto Him in every thought. But when we do, our doubts and fears flee."

That has been my goal ever since I've read that and is my goal for this week and for the rest of my life. It's true, it definitely is mentally rigorous to strive to look unto Him in EVERY thought. It's hard, requires a lot of focus, but it's worth it! If I look unto Christ in every thought then I will be more like Him, I would do what He does, I will follow more His footsteps, and that's what I want. I want to further my conversion more by focusing on Him in EVERY thought, every single one. My focus has to be riveted, but I know that will help me be a better disciple, companion, missionary, example, sister, daughter, everything. No doubts or fears. Christ offers that. How awesome!! I know that Christ is so willing to help us and guide us but we have to seek Him. We have to reach out to Him. All we have to do is desire to follow Him and He'll help us and transform us!! Here's another snippet I liked haha:

"When you reach up for the Lord’s power in your life with the same intensity that a drowning person has when grasping and gasping for air, power from Jesus Christ will be yours. When the Savior knows you truly want to reach up to Him—when He can feel that the greatest desire of your heart is to draw His power into your life—you will be led by the Holy Ghost to know exactly what you should do.
When you spiritually stretch beyond anything you have ever done before, then His power will flow into you."

I have 12 more weeks left of my mission. These are my last 2 transfers. *sobs*. This is the final countdown, the tail end. I'm gonna blink and be home. I am so sad. Time is going by wayyyyyy too fast. I really hope it slows down a ton these next few weeks. I love this work way too much!!!! I never want it to end!!

Love u guys too the moon and back!!!
