Blessings & Lessons

Hey!


We had a lot of good lessons this week! We had a friend who is basically a dry member who overcame his fear of public speaking yesterday and went up and bore his testimony!!! It was so awesome!!


Sadly I'm leaving Los Mameyes and am heading up north to a place called Villa Mella! Far from the ocean now :,). I'm gonna have another tall companion (#tallgirls) her name is Hermana Perry, I am so stoked!


I'm gonna miss Los Mameyes! I have learned SO MUCH in this area. I've really been able to see the hand of the Lord in ALL things and it has strengthened my testimony so much. I've experienced a lot of growth here. I've seen so many blessings and have learned so many lessons. I love this work!


The church came out with a cool video this last week introducing simple ways that anyone can love, share, and invite like Christ did. Here's the link:

Inviting others to come unto Christ is not just a full-time missionary thing. It's an every-true-Christian thing, especially as members of the Church of Jesus Christ. I love that the video shows us how simple it is, it really is that simple!!! I invite you guys to think of ways or people that you can share the gospel with, and then do it!

Hi!! This week was nice!!! I definitely saw some tender miracles this week!! We had a really good lesson with our friend Dagoberto and his wife Risa. He has sooooo much faith and we're just waiting for a few medical things to work out so he can get baptized!! They are so amazing and the spirit that we felt with them this week was so special. That lady that I said gasped during the First Vision is on date now!!!! Her name is Adilka and she's so special. She has so much faith and she said that when she reads the Book of Mormon the feeling she gets is indescribable. I'm so stoked for her. Her whole family are members but inactive and her inactive sister was such a huge help during our lesson to help us get her on a date, it was so funny but perfect!! The inactive sister has started to reactivate so it's awesome. Such a good lesson I just love them. That's about it hahaha this week was good and some frustrating things but that's the mission life I suppose. Good news...

El Sol Sale Por El Este

I come home this week. In case you're wondering, yes, I am emo. I'm sad. I can't believe it. I can't believe the time has gone by so quick. My homecoming talk will be  THIS SUNDAY the 17th at 9am  at 550 E 700 S, I'd love to see you there!! There will be food after at Vernon Worthen Park :). This week was so crazy and so awesome. We had the mission tour with Elder Villanueva and I loved it!! We had 2 MLCs with him, and my companion and I are also part of the technology committee, so we had a technology council with him as well! Him and his wife are super cute, I love them and I feel lucky to have heard from them twice on my mission! 3 days full of awesome learning and application. I wish I had more time to apply everything I learned. On the last day he talked a lot about being a disciple of Jesus Christ for our whole lives and I feel like it was a message just for me! Letting The Holy Spirit Guide

Alo!! Koman ou ye?? Duolingo got Creole on it so now I'll definitely come back speaking like a pro thanks Duolingo and textbooks from my mom <3.  This week was average idk. Nothing too crazy. We had some cool lessons and met some cool people!! This is the last week of the transfer and we think Hermana Reategui might leave the area so I'm a little emo about that lol.  We did have a cool experience on Saturday though. We were chillin after English class in the morning and saw that we had some missed texts and a missed call from a random number asking if we were coming and we were like what??? Usually because of English class we don't make appointments for Saturday morning so we were super confused. We called the number and they were like hi are you guys coming??? And we were like who are you? They said "Larimar, remember on the second floor of that house, on such and such road, from Thursday? You said you would come by again Saturday morning did you guys forget?"...
