This Is Bliss

Guys, I am just living it up rn these weeks have been soooo good I love it here. We have been working reallyyyyyy hard and hope to see some fruits of our labors soon!

This week we focused a lot on inviting our friends to make covenants with our Heavenly Father and a lot said yes! It has been so cool to see Hermana Jean step out of her comfort zone and invite our friends to come unto Christ! She's a rockstar!! One of those friends was DIONY. YEAH. After so much time, he finally accepted his date. I was like Diony we keep going in circles here, if you really want to know, you really have to seek! So we invited him to actually read the Book of Mormon every day, and to sincerely pray. We asked him if he did such and received his answer before April 29, would he get baptized on that day. And he said yes!!!!! Please keep him in your prayers, he's so awesome and so prepared, and he really wants to know for himself that these things are true!

We had lots of friends come worship with us yesterday at church and it was so great. It was fast and testimony meeting yesterday and 2 of our friends went up and bore their testimonies— it was their first time ever at church. And they bore their testimony. How cool!!!! 1 of them is a little friend of ours, Carlos, who's 12 years old and lives right next to the church. He's so funny and we've been trying to teach his family but there wasn't much progress... so I told Carlos that if he came to church I'd give him some american candy my family sent me and I said it kinda jokingly, but then he actually came! And bore his testimony! And liked it! He said he wants to come back! So awesome.

Other than that we have been meeting a lot of friends who have a lot of interest. God is blessing us daily and I am so thankful to be a laborer in His vineyard. This is the best work ever.

This week I studied 4 Nephi and it's so wild to think how people went from being the happiest to ever exist to a really wicked one. A people that had just seen Christ, and had expressed the joy they felt with their generations, dwindled in not just unbelief, but outright rebellion against God. That's insane to think about, but it's still happening today. There's still that puffed up attitude today. It's really easy to let our happiness lead to pride. But we can't let the joy or possible comfort we feel in life puff us up. We are all equal before God! We can combat this by having the love of God in our hearts! Check this out:

15 And it came to pass that there was no contention in the land, because of the love of God which did dwell in the hearts of the people.
16 And there were no envyings, nor strifes, nor tumults, nor whoredoms, nor lyings, nor murders, nor any manner of lasciviousness; and surely there could not be a happier people among all the people who had been created by the hand of God.
17 There were no robbers, nor murderers, neither were there Lamanites, nor any manner of -ites; but they were in one, the children of Christ, and heirs to the kingdom of God.
18 And how blessed were they! For the Lord did bless them in all their doings; yea, even they were blessed and prospered until an hundred and ten years had passed away; and the first generation from Christ had passed away, and there was no contention in all the land. (4 Nephi 1:15-18)

Let God and His love prevail in your life!! Miracles will happen when you do, I promise. That's how true joy is achieved, loving others how He loves them. This is how I feel pure bliss.

I love you guys!
