‼ Long email alert ‼ but stay tuned it's kinda fun  Hey guys!! Great week this week  Something I've learned these past couple weeks is that when you pray for a certain miracle, God hears, and answers, and might provide something completely different than you expected, but it's nevertheless a miracle!! Here's why: Last weekend we fasted and prayed for a miracle, specifically we fasted and prayed for our friend Diony to be able to have this desire to follow the steps of Christ. And we did everything in our power, we prepared so well, brought solid members to every lesson, and nothing. We were kinda bummed because we know he's so ready, but God knows when will be best for him. So then on Sunday immediately after Diony leaves church, that's when we got the okay from the bishop for Shanella! Hey guys, how is everyone??? Yesterday at church we had some new friends, a family, come!!! They came on time and everything and it was so good to have them there!! They enjoyed it all and the members were super welcoming. We have really high hopes for them! Yesterday at church we also got some good news that we can finally baptize our little friend named Chanela! She's 9 years old and her family are members and she wanted her brother to baptize her but we had to wait a little bit because he was going through a process but the bishop gave us the okay! So we asked her if she wanted to be baptized on Saturday and she said yes! There's a couple other things happening on Saturday in the ward so now we're just hoping we can squeeze in her baptism!! We have this friend name Diony. I think I've talked about him before, he's so awesome, so ready, so prepared, but he still doesn't want to be baptized. what up! idk what it is about this area but we just keep getting rejected left and right in the FUNNIEST ways. I swear people think we must be dumb in the ways they try to get out of meeting with us lol it keeps things fun. This week we had zone conference and it was soooo good!! President talked a lot about obedience! Here on the mission I've come to grow a strong testimony about obedience. I know that when we obey God's commandments we see miracles!! I've experienced it!!  This last week we've been reading 3 Nephi 9 a lot with our friends. We've been focusing on verses 13-22, talking about how we can come into Christ and why we come into Christ. My favorite part of those verses is found in verse 13: "will ye not now return unto me, and repent of your sins, and be converted, that I may heal you?" Ahhh!! That last line alone!!! Hey! What's up guys I hope you all are having a blessed day. This week was super good, I saw the hand of the Lord so much so let me tell you about it!!! We found a family this week!! The way we found them was TOTALLY directed by the Lord. Long story short the dad is a member and got baptized a long time ago but when he moved here, there wasn't a church built at the time in this area so he just didn't go. We met his wife last week (before meeting him) and she told us we could come back and when we went on Friday we were OVER THE MOON to find a whole family, that's LEGALLY MARRIED. That is so rare here!! They have 4 kids and are the cutest. The husband really wants to come back to church and wants to bring his family with him. SUCH a tender mercy from the Lord!!
