I Just Know

Hey!


This week was so good we saw so many miracles. Yesterday was stake conference and we had a few of our friends come and it was SO GOOD. The Spirit was soooo strong and it was just what our friends needed to hear!!! Literally that helped further their progress so much ahh we had a friend say that he felt super good inside and enjoyed the conference a lot! A lot of the talks were like tailored to missionary work and our friends! So thankful!! Also it was fun because we had stake conference in my first area and I got to see so many friends!!


Also this week we just casually went to our friend Altagracias house who we most definitely thought was a member, just not active, because I swear she told us so, but we walked into her house and she asked us when she can get baptized!! Turns out she's actually not a member lol, but really wants to work towards being baptized. How cool!


We had an hermanas activity and it was so fun to see all of the hermanas again!! 13 of them are finishing this week (oh including my companion :')) and I am so depressed, they basically raised me!! They've played such a vital role in my mission life, I've made forever friends! I'm so happy I got to see them all before they leave!


It's transfer week and I'm training again! I'm excited but also I'm sad, I'm gonna miss Hermana Zirker but she's about to have the best time at home. She's so awesome!!


I finished Saints volume 1 this week. This work is just so true.


It's kinda silly. I feel like I've got to be in the Bible belt buckle of the world. There are SO many different churches here. Each one of them I swear like 20 feet apart. EVERYONE here believes in God and talks about Him constantly. It's fun to be able to talk to anyone here about God. My favorite pass along card is the one that asks "What happens after death?" I have asked so many people that question and I've heard so many different answers. So many different thoughts on something that produces only 1 outcome. I've heard so many different views on so many different things. 


It seems kinda confusing. But I've actually never been so sure of anything more in my life. I've never been so sure that this gospel is exactly what Christ established when He was here. It's what He called His prophets before Him to teach and establish. I'm so sure that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ, and when used together with the Bible, allows us to know God's plan more. I feel so blessed to be able to know what happens after death. I'm so sure that God calls prophets, that Russell M. Nelson is called by God. I know that Joseph Smith was also called by God, and that God answered his earnest prayer. 


And I know that God hears and answers every prayer, because I've asked Him if all this is true, and by the power of the Holy Ghost, I just know. He's answered my earnest prayers, and He'll answer yours too.

Hi!! This week was nice!!! I definitely saw some tender miracles this week!! We had a really good lesson with our friend Dagoberto and his wife Risa. He has sooooo much faith and we're just waiting for a few medical things to work out so he can get baptized!! They are so amazing and the spirit that we felt with them this week was so special. That lady that I said gasped during the First Vision is on date now!!!! Her name is Adilka and she's so special. She has so much faith and she said that when she reads the Book of Mormon the feeling she gets is indescribable. I'm so stoked for her. Her whole family are members but inactive and her inactive sister was such a huge help during our lesson to help us get her on a date, it was so funny but perfect!! The inactive sister has started to reactivate so it's awesome. Such a good lesson I just love them. That's about it hahaha this week was good and some frustrating things but that's the mission life I suppose. Good news...

I come home this week. In case you're wondering, yes, I am emo. I'm sad. I can't believe it. I can't believe the time has gone by so quick. My homecoming talk will be  THIS SUNDAY the 17th at 9am  at 550 E 700 S, I'd love to see you there!! There will be food after at Vernon Worthen Park :). This week was so crazy and so awesome. We had the mission tour with Elder Villanueva and I loved it!! We had 2 MLCs with him, and my companion and I are also part of the technology committee, so we had a technology council with him as well! Him and his wife are super cute, I love them and I feel lucky to have heard from them twice on my mission! 3 days full of awesome learning and application. I wish I had more time to apply everything I learned. On the last day he talked a lot about being a disciple of Jesus Christ for our whole lives and I feel like it was a message just for me! Letting The Holy Spirit Guide

Alo!! Koman ou ye?? Duolingo got Creole on it so now I'll definitely come back speaking like a pro thanks Duolingo and textbooks from my mom <3.  This week was average idk. Nothing too crazy. We had some cool lessons and met some cool people!! This is the last week of the transfer and we think Hermana Reategui might leave the area so I'm a little emo about that lol.  We did have a cool experience on Saturday though. We were chillin after English class in the morning and saw that we had some missed texts and a missed call from a random number asking if we were coming and we were like what??? Usually because of English class we don't make appointments for Saturday morning so we were super confused. We called the number and they were like hi are you guys coming??? And we were like who are you? They said "Larimar, remember on the second floor of that house, on such and such road, from Thursday? You said you would come by again Saturday morning did you guys forget?"...
