Never Alone

Hey!!!!



One day this week we contacted an old lady that let us in her small home. She's sick, so she can't really leave the house unless it's to go to the doctor. She was telling us that a lot of people are like "but you're alone!!" And she said she tells them all "I'm not alone. God is with me. I don't see Him, but He sees me!" Man. How sweet. I could really just feel the love God has for that woman when she said that. It's so true too!! God is always with us, we are never alone.



We had some reallllly good member lessons last night that helped us have some break-throughs with our friends. I'm SO excited to follow up with them this next week, it's gonna be a goooooood week. The pace is starting to pick up in the area, I'm so pumped.



We had a friend who loves to tell us she loves her religion, accepts a Book of Mormon and for us to come back to teach more!! It's been so cool to see how the Lord has been present in her life to lead her, and us, to meet and share with her at this moment in her life!! She's been to church a few times and I'm just really really excited to share more. 



Also we had a baptism this week, and it happened for real haha we had to redo it from last week. The branch's dog came in and joined in!!



I ate cow intestine this week, I don't recommend



Spiritual Thought

I read Alma 5 this week which is just such a great chapter. When I was in young women's they told me it was like the ultimate interview to know what we need to work on, and that's so true!! It's such a call to repentance. There's a lot of good verses, as a mission we focus on verse 15 a lot!! But I want to share verse 60:



   "60 And now I say unto you that the good shepherd doth call after you; and if you will hearken unto his voice he will bring you into his fold, and ye are his sheep; and he commandeth you that ye suffer no ravenous wolf to enter among you, that ye may not be destroyed."



The Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ, is calling after YOU! He calls after everyone. He wants all to come unto Him. No one is ever lost to Him. He is so aware of you and wants to keep you safe! Hearken to Him! Verse 33: 

   "33 Behold, he sendeth an invitation unto all men, for the arms of mercy are extended towards them, and he saith: Repent, and I will receive you."



LOVE YOU ALL!! Take some time to know Jesus this week.

Hi!! This week was nice!!! I definitely saw some tender miracles this week!! We had a really good lesson with our friend Dagoberto and his wife Risa. He has sooooo much faith and we're just waiting for a few medical things to work out so he can get baptized!! They are so amazing and the spirit that we felt with them this week was so special. That lady that I said gasped during the First Vision is on date now!!!! Her name is Adilka and she's so special. She has so much faith and she said that when she reads the Book of Mormon the feeling she gets is indescribable. I'm so stoked for her. Her whole family are members but inactive and her inactive sister was such a huge help during our lesson to help us get her on a date, it was so funny but perfect!! The inactive sister has started to reactivate so it's awesome. Such a good lesson I just love them. That's about it hahaha this week was good and some frustrating things but that's the mission life I suppose. Good news...

El Sol Sale Por El Este

I come home this week. In case you're wondering, yes, I am emo. I'm sad. I can't believe it. I can't believe the time has gone by so quick. My homecoming talk will be  THIS SUNDAY the 17th at 9am  at 550 E 700 S, I'd love to see you there!! There will be food after at Vernon Worthen Park :). This week was so crazy and so awesome. We had the mission tour with Elder Villanueva and I loved it!! We had 2 MLCs with him, and my companion and I are also part of the technology committee, so we had a technology council with him as well! Him and his wife are super cute, I love them and I feel lucky to have heard from them twice on my mission! 3 days full of awesome learning and application. I wish I had more time to apply everything I learned. On the last day he talked a lot about being a disciple of Jesus Christ for our whole lives and I feel like it was a message just for me! Letting The Holy Spirit Guide

Alo!! Koman ou ye?? Duolingo got Creole on it so now I'll definitely come back speaking like a pro thanks Duolingo and textbooks from my mom <3.  This week was average idk. Nothing too crazy. We had some cool lessons and met some cool people!! This is the last week of the transfer and we think Hermana Reategui might leave the area so I'm a little emo about that lol.  We did have a cool experience on Saturday though. We were chillin after English class in the morning and saw that we had some missed texts and a missed call from a random number asking if we were coming and we were like what??? Usually because of English class we don't make appointments for Saturday morning so we were super confused. We called the number and they were like hi are you guys coming??? And we were like who are you? They said "Larimar, remember on the second floor of that house, on such and such road, from Thursday? You said you would come by again Saturday morning did you guys forget?"...
