Nothing New

Buenas!


What's up guys hey how's it going?? Anything new, anything fun? I'm kinda just chillin over here hahaha.


This week was good. Taught some cool people and found a good amount of new people!! I'm so excited about the work that's going on here. 


Not that much happened this week, a garbage truck threw a backpack full of cockroaches (the huge ones) at us while we were walking, ah another day in paradise ☺.


This week we have the baptism of our friend Yereidy and she is SO prepared. She is so so cool I am soooo excited to tell you guys about it next week!!


Spiritual Thought
The Psalms are really touching. They really hit home. There's so many Psalms and they're all so good so I'm only gonna share a few but seriously if you have time please read them yourself, they are gold.


Psalm 27:14- "Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord."


Psalm 30:5- "...weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning."


Psalm 62:8- "Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us."


There are soooo many other good ones. Something I really like about the Psalms is how they show us to be honest with the Lord. If we have complaints, tell them to Heavenly Father, and let Him work through you to help you feel peace. Be thankful for everything. Tell the Lord how you're feeling. He cares and He loves you and He already knows all the intents of your heart so might as well tell it to Him.

Hi!! This week was nice!!! I definitely saw some tender miracles this week!! We had a really good lesson with our friend Dagoberto and his wife Risa. He has sooooo much faith and we're just waiting for a few medical things to work out so he can get baptized!! They are so amazing and the spirit that we felt with them this week was so special. That lady that I said gasped during the First Vision is on date now!!!! Her name is Adilka and she's so special. She has so much faith and she said that when she reads the Book of Mormon the feeling she gets is indescribable. I'm so stoked for her. Her whole family are members but inactive and her inactive sister was such a huge help during our lesson to help us get her on a date, it was so funny but perfect!! The inactive sister has started to reactivate so it's awesome. Such a good lesson I just love them. That's about it hahaha this week was good and some frustrating things but that's the mission life I suppose. Good news...

I come home this week. In case you're wondering, yes, I am emo. I'm sad. I can't believe it. I can't believe the time has gone by so quick. My homecoming talk will be  THIS SUNDAY the 17th at 9am  at 550 E 700 S, I'd love to see you there!! There will be food after at Vernon Worthen Park :). This week was so crazy and so awesome. We had the mission tour with Elder Villanueva and I loved it!! We had 2 MLCs with him, and my companion and I are also part of the technology committee, so we had a technology council with him as well! Him and his wife are super cute, I love them and I feel lucky to have heard from them twice on my mission! 3 days full of awesome learning and application. I wish I had more time to apply everything I learned. On the last day he talked a lot about being a disciple of Jesus Christ for our whole lives and I feel like it was a message just for me! Letting The Holy Spirit Guide

Alo!! Koman ou ye?? Duolingo got Creole on it so now I'll definitely come back speaking like a pro thanks Duolingo and textbooks from my mom <3.  This week was average idk. Nothing too crazy. We had some cool lessons and met some cool people!! This is the last week of the transfer and we think Hermana Reategui might leave the area so I'm a little emo about that lol.  We did have a cool experience on Saturday though. We were chillin after English class in the morning and saw that we had some missed texts and a missed call from a random number asking if we were coming and we were like what??? Usually because of English class we don't make appointments for Saturday morning so we were super confused. We called the number and they were like hi are you guys coming??? And we were like who are you? They said "Larimar, remember on the second floor of that house, on such and such road, from Thursday? You said you would come by again Saturday morning did you guys forget?"...
