Learning & Loving
Hey!!
This week was chill idk haha. It was better. A couple new hermanas got here this week so we had 2 hermanas move in! Hallelujah! They took over one of the areas we were covering so now we're only down to one area and it's been such a relief haha. They're awesome!!
This week was just full of a lot of teaching and trying to get to know the area and people here more. We're slowly cleaning through the area book!
I got to go to a baptism in my last area and it was super good. The closing hymn was "Families Can Be Together Forever" and it just hit me like a truck that I'm literally here to help families be together like what the heck that's so cool!!!!!! Anyways.
I also really felt God's love for every single person this week and it was awesome! God loves YOU!
Spiritual Thought
My dad gave me wise counsel this week that I wanted to share, and said that everyone has to cross water at some point. Whether it's on dry ground like Moses, building a boat like Nephi, or walking on water like Peter, all 3 with the help of Jesus Christ. Everyone's gotta build their boat or cross the water at some point!!!! And God is there and will provide the means for however we cross!! So are we gonna be like Laman and Lemuel and say it's too hard, or like Nephi and go and do?
"Now when our hearts were depressed, and we were about to turn back, behold, the Lord comforted us, and said: Go amongst thy brethren, the Lamanites, and bear with patience thine afflictions, and I will give unto you success." Alma 26:27
The process of crossing the water might seem hard and it might seem like we will never reach the other side, but we will eventually! I'm still learning this!! Have patience and trust God, HE IS THERE FOR YOU! Thanks Alejandro.
Also ps the book of Jacob in the Book of Mormon is just super good and amazing and bold and wonderful so you should read it and let me know what you think!!!!
Okay bye!!!! LOVE U!
