Job Is Inspiring

Hi!!

This week was good! We had a super good district council that just fired me up. We talked about how we can fulfill our purpose more and everyone had really good things to share.

We also had exchanges this week and for the first time actually enjoyed it. I learned sooooo much and it was just a really good experience honestly. I'm so pumped to apply the things I've learned.

I've been realizing this week that the only way I'm gonna find joy in this transfer is literally throwing myself in the work so that's what I'm trying to do haha. All the things I've learned this week have helped me learn to do so. To focus more on my purpose, fulfill it more, and how to find joy in the work. My comp and I definitely made some progress this week too, we weren't really seeing eye to eye, but we've bettered our relationship this week! We've been working super hard these last couple days. The rest of this transfer is about to go crazy, I can feel it. I'm so ready to get the ball rolling.

This week we invited some friends to come unto Christ through baptism and man. That is just so special. We invited our cute friend Yulisa and I felt the spirit probably the strongest I've felt in my life, I was like on the verge of tears just hearing her say yes and that this was something she wanted. During that lesson I just realized why I'm here and it was just so impactful to bear testimony on why this church is true, how it's blessed me, and how she too will be blessed. Idk how to explain it, the Spirit was just so strong and I'm just so thankful to be here.

Anyway idk what else, this transfer and this week have just been such a learning curve. I feel so much gratitude.

Spiritual Thought
JOB!! I love the story of Job so much. Talk about faith. That man definitely had it. He went through ittttttt and kept his faith and trust in God. Life isn't easy. Job got everything stripped away from Him back to back to back. It doesn't make sense. He was just and upright. He had a lot of questions!! Andddd they didn't get answered. But, Job did get an answer that God is there and aware of Him. This is so applicable to our own lives. We all have questions and we all suffer, and at some point or another, are gonna go through a time of major suffering, a time where we might question whether God is there for us, a time where we have to really acknowledge our faith and decide what we believe. I promise and testify that God is there for you. Through everything. Turn to Him and take your dispair and questions to Him in prayer. He is always listening. Christ is the only one who understands exactly what you're going through. So trust Him. And love those around you a little more this week. Sometimes words don't or can't explain how to console someone's grief and bear someone's burdens with them. Sometimes we just have to be like Job's friends at the beginning of his story: "So they sat down with him upon the ground seven days and seven nights, and none spake a word unto him: for they saw that his grief was very great."

Love you all so much <3
