Happiness = Christ

Holaaaaa

Another cool and quick week!!

We had zone conference this week and I really enjoyed it. Presidente Acosta is just the bomb.com. He spoke about how our purpose is intertwined with God and Christ's purpose. As a missionary I'm here to help Heavenly Father "bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man" (Moses 1:39). So cool!! I also really liked what everyone had to say. I learned a lot from the STL's and AP's! I left feeling super edified and motivated. Super thankful to be a part of this gran obra!!

Remember the chef pic of Hermana Perez from the last email? She got emergency transferred. We were all super sad, I love Hermana Perez!! But that means a new hermana moved in to take her place and that's okay because Hermana Fernandez is so super cool too. But rip to homemade Mexican food.

On Saturday we had the baptism of our friend Fransisco!! It was awesome!! These little kids that hang out at the church all the time came and were asking a ton of questions about baptism and if they could be baptized too! We went to go talk to their families after and are gonna start teaching them! I'm so excited to work with them.

Idk really know what else haha what do you guys want to know???? I've seen so many naked kids this week, they are everywhere here. The rain went away this week and it's been SO HOT. Our house is also an oven so I'm dying haha.

I basically just don't want this transfer to end, I never wanna leave Villa Esfuerzo!!! I love it here.

Spiritual thought:
Read Mosiah 2-4 if you wanna be super humbled and need motivation to keep the commandments <3. King Benjamin lays down the law. What a wise guy. Let me give you a little glimpse into how awesome these chapters are:

"And moreover, I would desire that ye should consider on the blessed and happy state of those that keep the commandments of God. For behold, they are blessed in all things, both temporal and spiritual; and if they hold out faithful to the end they are received into heaven, that thereby they may dwell with God in a state of never-ending happiness. O remember, remember that these things are true; for the Lord God hath spoken it." (Mosiah 2:41)

Read that again pls. When we keep the commandments, we will be blessed. We will!!! It may not seem like it but Heavenly Father has promised over and over again that when we keep the commandments we will be blessed and prosper in the land, and He always provides a way for us to complete what He has asked of us. Also dwelling with God in a state of never-ending happiness?? Yeah sign me up. Following Christ means following His commandments and prophets, and when we do that we don't have happiness for just a day, or a year, or 10 years, the joy that Christ offers doesn't have an expiration date. It's never-ending. For real. So, remember Christ and how amazing He is! When we remember Him, our faith grows. He suffered and paid the price that we will never be able to repay. All he asks of us is to keep His commandments. That's it! Keep His commandments and you will feel joy and closer to Him, that's a promise that He has made, and He cannot break His promises.

Anyways, love you all!!!! Email me please!!
