Letting The Holy Spirit Guide

Alo!! Koman ou ye?? Duolingo got Creole on it so now I'll definitely come back speaking like a pro thanks Duolingo and textbooks from my mom <3.

This week was average idk. Nothing too crazy. We had some cool lessons and met some cool people!! This is the last week of the transfer and we think Hermana Reategui might leave the area so I'm a little emo about that lol.

We did have a cool experience on Saturday though. We were chillin after English class in the morning and saw that we had some missed texts and a missed call from a random number asking if we were coming and we were like what??? Usually because of English class we don't make appointments for Saturday morning so we were super confused. We called the number and they were like hi are you guys coming??? And we were like who are you? They said "Larimar, remember on the second floor of that house, on such and such road, from Thursday? You said you would come by again Saturday morning did you guys forget?" And we were like uhhhh.. yeah. We give so many people our number it is just so hard to keep track of who everyone is haha. Plus later when we remembered who she was, we remembered that her family actually didn't really seem interested... but hey she reached out! Anyways, while on the phone, we were trying to find a time we could come visit her to try to make up for the mix up and Hermana Reategui was like actually we can just come right now!! So we did just that!! We went over and had a good conversation with her!! We let her know she wasn't actually forgotten haha. But something way cool is that after giving her a little debrief about what we do, she said "All I know is that I prayed to God and that same day you guys came by. I saw the card you guys gave me then, and decided I should call and check if you guys were still coming!" WHAT. Guys she's 14 years old!! Ahhh! When she said that my jaw literally dropped. I could not believe the way that the Spirit worked that day to lead us to her house, and led her to remember to call us. Usually the pass along cards do not work hahaha. We assured her that we have the answer to her prayer, gave her a Book of Mormon, and left on such a good note. I am so excited to keep meeting with her!!!!

Sunday was pretty discouraging at church, and actually kinda the whole week was discouraging, buttttt we're gonna have some baptisms this week I'm pumped!

Other than that I've been reallyyyyy trying to focus on the Holy Ghost this week. I feel like it's been hard for me lately to recognize the Holy Ghost and it's kind of been discouraging. So this week I have really been trying to focus on the little things I can do to always make sure I'm able to feel the Spirit. I've had some humbling and good experiences with that!! I've been realizing that I really am living in the Spirit of revelation and that when I do my part, He does His :).
D&C 84:85- "Neither take ye thought beforehand what ye shall say; but treasure up in your minds continually the words of life, and it shall be given you in the very hour that portion that shall be meted unto every man."
